Hello!
Thanks for visiting our site! After working 18 years in corporate America and discovering my management position was being eliminated; I decided to start my own business. I traveled frequently for business, and my husband and I liked to travel for vacation and often found ourselves in the dilemma as to who would care for our pets when we were away? We had no relatives nearby or anyone reliable to help!
I did my research and joined Pet Sitters International and pursued the process of being insured and bonded. My first year, I earned my certification in Pet First Aid. I am now an Accredited Pet Sitter by Pet Sitters International as I completed their course to continue to learn about all types of animals and how to care for them.
My husband and I have two mini Dachshunds that are the love of our lives!! I have experience with all types of animals - dogs, cats, ferrets, horses, pygmy goats, fish, chickens, birds, and even a SKUNK! I believe the only pets I haven't cared for are spiders and snakes!
I have experience with giving insulin shots to diabetic cats and dogs; as well as other types of medications. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my job and I have excellent back up staff (I'm VERY particular!!) to assist me during busy times so that everyone gets the best of care!
